Day 37

Saying our thanks and good-byes to the kind family that let us sleep on thier yard to aviod a 18 dollar tent fee, we back tracked three miles to walmart to stock up on supplies to get us throught the day. The ride today had us going throught Stanley, were hopefully the tires Hank's dad had sent should be. We made one quick stop at a gas station were we drank our large Arizonia Ice Teas and watched the oil workers flood in and out of the parking lot. It was getting hotter and hotter by the minute, so we headed out for Stanley. Splitting off into the three groups of two, Hank and Alex made it into Stanley first. Finding the post office hidden in the furtherest northeast corner of town, Hank came back out with two frech new sets of tires. One being Conntiental Gatorskins, and the other Spealized armodillo's. Meeting the rest of the boys at a cafe, we got ice cream and began our usaul two hour sit around. Alex was pushing to ride to the next town, but with Beau asleep on the ground, and the rest of us tempted by the pool we passed in town, convienced alex to stay with us in Stanley. The R.V park was pretty full from the oil workers, but we found a nice spot on grass, and were happy to see showers. After yesturdays 150 miles and todays hot 70 we smelt and felt horriable. Cant think of a better than a nice shower before bed.
